Forensic Mental Health Assessment of Justice-Involved Youth

Ivan Kruh is a skilled clinical psychologist who offers attorneys and clients best practice forensic psychological evaluations, insightful professional consultations, and convincing expert testimony, particularly in cases with youth involved in the juvenile legal system.

Dr. Kruh addresses forensic mental health issues based on specialized graduate training, forensic fellowship training, and twenty-five years of forensic practice experience. He is board certified in forensic psychology by the  American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and is a diplomate of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology (AAFP); there are fewer than 400 psychologists nationally holding this status and fewer than 100 specializing in the assessment of youth who are justice involved.

Dr. Kruh is a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York State, and Washington State, and he is a National Registered Health Service Psychologist. He is authorized under PSYPACT* to practice interjurisdictionally, both remotely and in-person, in most states. Depending on local laws and requirements, he is available to conduct evaluations nationally.

*PSYPACT is an interstate compact which offers a voluntary expedited pathway for practice to qualified psychologists who wish to practice in multiple states. PSYPACT is designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology and the temporary in-person, face-to-face practice of psychology across state boundaries. In order to practice telepsychology in PSYPACT states, psychologists licensed in PSYPACT states only, can apply to the PSYPACT Commission for an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). In order to conduct temporary practice in PSYPACT states, psychologists licensed in PSYPACT states only can apply to the PSYPACT Commission for a Temporary Authorization to Practice (TAP). The PSYPACT Commission is the governing body of PSYPACT and is comprised of one representative from each PSYPACT state. Mor information regarding PSYPACT and its requirements can be found at www.psypact.org.

The land on which I practice my profession belonged to the Muhheaconneok people, who were relocated by the United States Government under the policy of Indian Removal. Today they reside in Bowler, Wisconsin and are known as the Stockbridge Munsee Community.
May we build a more inclusive and equitable nation for all.
